I’d listen, and then I’d send them to the health food store down the road for lion’s mane, for magnesium, for ashwagandha and more. As we didn’t stock any of this in the pharmacies, I was sending them somewhere else to find the support I wished I could have given them.

That sat with me for a long time. But I knew that I was good at formulating and pharmaceutical chemistry. And I knew who I wanted to help.
