Many of us start a new exercise plan only to stop it a few days later. It’s no secret that gym memberships swell in January and February, only to see numbers decline precipitously after.
We get discouraged. The jeans we thought we’d fit into by Friday…? What’s the point? That restrictive ‘eating’ plan? It’s not sustainable, or enjoyable.

We know that when we stop using our muscles through inactivity, we lose muscle tension and strength. Muscle loss means we cannot carry the load of life. Literally.
We need our muscles. We need to be strong to age well, no matter what our age. Muscles carry our bones- without them, we’d all be falling down!
